Art
A Note from the Editors:
This exhibition, celebrating 250 years of democracy, is a chorus of voices saying, “I need your voice to lift me.” There are 58 original works of art in this show. In challenging times, we look for what lifts us up and helps keep our freedoms, resilience, and hopes firmly in sight. Every work in this collection offers a personal reflection on democracy—its promises, its complexities, and its enduring power.
The exhibition showcases a wide range of creativity, from painting and fiber art to sculpture and mixed media. Though varied in form and perspective, these works are united by a shared belief in expression, participation, and connection. We hope these pieces inspire you with their messages and awaken your own creative spirit. Democracy thrives when people show up, engage, and contribute. This exhibition is both a celebration and an invitation: show up, be heard, and take part.
